Not sure what to say?

Janet, I am very sorry to hear of Steve´s passing. It was an honor and my privilege to be able to serve with him for many years in the Reserve. Steve was a good man, a great friend and an outstanding Army Officer. I stand and salute my Brother-in-Arms.

We had great times working with Caterpillar Dealers . Steve had a personality unique to Steve and I did enjoy it! I’m sure he will be missed by his family and close friends. Janet I am so sorry for your loss. I know you will miss him every day!

Steve’s lively personality, dry sense of humour, and generous heart will be with us forever. I feel huge gratitude to both of you for your hospitality, delicious meals, thrilling hikes and hockey games we enjoyed together. Those memories make me smile. Thank you Steve and Janet!

Janet, my heart aches for you and Steve’s family. My memory of working with Steve brings a smile and laughter to mind. You both were blessed to love each other.

We will always remember and miss his laugh, his ability to gently tease and the smile that crossed his face when we'd join in the fun. "Janet, while you are up..." became an inside joke we could share. Steve - tough as nails and as sweet as they come. He'll live on in our memories and loving thoughts and by being with Janet, who loved him so completely.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

Having work with Steve years ago I have fond memories.

Karen....I am so sorry to hear this. We worked together with the State of Illinois in Pekin Illinois

I was a co-worker with Steve when we were both employed by the State of Illinois Department of Rehabilitation. I was shocked to hear of his death and the disease that took his life as I had lost track of him years ago. My sympathy is extended to his family. You are all in my prayers. May God be with you and hold you all in HIS loving arms. With Sympathy, Martha Dunnam -Green Valley, IL
