Not sure what to say?

I'm so glad to have had the chance to see Steve & Bob together, one more time, at CHRR this year. They were having such a good time.

To his family and many friends my sincere sympathies. It's a huge loss for all.

I never met anyone who enjoyed racing as much as Steve. My heartfelt condolences to Paula and the Carbone family.

Steve was one of the nicest racers I ever met, it was a pleasure racing him. He will be deeply missed.
Sincerely,
Don & Pat Garlits

R.I.P. Steve Carbone, you will be missed.

I had the pleasure of knowing Steve and was at the "burndown". Awsome driver, tremendous person, will be missed. My oldest son Steve was named after him. Our prayers and thoughts to the entire Carbone family in this tragic time. Your friends at Champion Racing Engines

Indy '71 was my first national event as a spectator. Steve's performance and strategy were unreal and made such a big impression on me. My condolences to his family. We've all lost a good one.

Thanks for the memories ...
