Sorry to hear of your Dads Passing. All of the Carlsons were like my second family. Best neighbors ever! Always treated me like one of the family. Joe & Lola like a second Mom & Dad, Steve & Rex like a brother. Steve was always a great neighbor, boss, mentor, teacher, and a good friend. So many great memories. I will always remember and miss His influence in my life!
God Bless You All.

I was sorry to hear about your father's passing. Steve and I were in the 1960 class at Rockford High School. I will always remember him as a friendly, outgoing, hard working guy who always had a smile on his face. You have my deepest sympathy.

I was raised just around the corner on Berrigan Ave.. I have fond memories of our school days playing baseball, "anti over" the coal shed and ice skating across the corner on my Dad's (pond) on our lunch hour. Steve's parents were hard working farmers and raised their sons with the same values. Steve was a devoted keeper of the land. God bless...
