Not sure what to say?

I just saw this. I was stationed in Panama with Steve. We were the best of friends. I looked for years to find him after we left Panama. Sad to see this. He is missed by many more people than you know as he had many soldier buddies.

My sympathy to Steve's family. I met Steve in Mazatlan on two separate occasions, the last time we spent a couple of months living down the hall from each other in the Belmar Hotel. Steve, we were good friends. Steve, I wish to thank you for your support and kind words and tidbits of wisdom that I needed during a difficult time for me. I will never forget you, rest well friend, and thank you. Anne McKennirey Ottawa Canada

You will always be with me in my heart.
All my Love,
Mom

I'll never forget going fishing with Cava after an!. all nighter at Bobs house! Here we are winding down Sharp Park with our fishing poles, going to the Pacifica Peir. We even bought bobbles and stuff(beer) and were ready to catch some fish with the regulars. It was quite a site being he gave me a left handed pole. It was quite an adventure and it sounded good at the time and we made it home in one piece!!....Rest in Peace Cava!!!

I'll never forget the time me and Cava, after an all nighter at Bob's house decided to go fishing at the Pacifica Peir....we bought bobbers and everything(beer) and attempted to catch fish with all the regulars...HAHA we were winding down Sharp Park with our poles hanging out the windows in his white Comet I think!!...Any how he was a character and a fun guy!! Rest in Peace Cava!!

Steve rest in Peace my friend till we meet again.

Steve I know you are looking down and over us all, remembering the time we were driving at night in Nevada and everything just lite up around us.I look forward to seeing you again my friend. To Steve family from ours, please except our sympathy.Peace and God bless.

Sending my deepest regrets to the family--Steve will be greatly missed. I always had interesting adventures in the Bay Area, as well as in Hawaii, over the years with Steve. Whenever I think of him I have a smile on my face. Rest in Peace brother.
