Read MoreSteven Cohen was an outstanding Director of the Dayton, VA Hospital complex. He helped many veterans from the Dayton area. The VA complex here housed many homeless veterans, who otherwise had no where else to live. He was a true hero of the Dayton community.

I was so sorry to hear of Steve´s passing today. I was a graduate from Meadowdale high school class of 1970. I have been a nurse for 49 years it sounds like Steve lived a life that was very well lived,and made it such a difference in so many peoples lives.May he be resting in the Arms of God knowing everlasting,peace,comfort,and joy.May God be with his friends and family during this time of extreme loss and grief.May his memory be eternal!
