Not sure what to say?

Sad to hear this news. . Thinking of my friend Kim... you are in my heart.

I met Steve this Fall when he was grilling me in a deposition - he knew what he was doing and yet, even though he wanted to take me apart, I kept thinking that once this case settled or whatever, I would look him up and play a round of golf. Nice man.

I'm sorry to hear about the passing of Steve. I found him to be a great person and friend. My thoughts go out to his family, especially, Chris. Who I had the pleasure to coach him in youth soccer. Which led me to know both his parents.

Dear Carol, Chris, Kim and Jamie,

We just heard NOW, at 3:15, of Steve's death. We are SO sorry! If we had known sooner, we surely would have been at the memorial services. I am sure you are all so shocked and saddened. He was such a really nice man and always so friendly, warm and helpful. We are so sorry for you all. Phoenix has lost a great citizen and we have lost a wonderful friend.

Love,
Sherry and Ravi Koopot

Steve-You have been a legend in our community, a lawyer who cared for his clients and fought for them as hard and as well as you could. Thank you for sharing your life, your wisdom, your highlights and lowlights, and your story with your many friends.
