Not sure what to say?

Steve wasn’t just my uncle he was my best friend and I loved to do everything with him every chance I had he was so funny and nice and knew how to cheer me up when I was sad and when I ever I would see him he would say “We need to put books on your head to stop you from growing!” He was an amazing man and no many people believe me with this but the day after he passed I was at school and I saw him right in front of me and I still do every now and then, my dad Chuck says it’s because he’s my...

Steve was my uncle but not just my uncle he was my best friend when he lived with me for a while we would make popcorn and hangout together all the time and I loved the time my dad Chuck, Uncle Steve, and I went fishing and rode his four wheeler and every time I saw Uncle steve he would say “we need to put some big heavy books on your head to stop you from getting taller!” He was such an amazing man he knew just how to make everyone laugh and everyone loved having him around so I know for a...

Our deepest sympathy to Steve's family - what a great man. I grew up just a few hundred yards from Steve's parents home. He was out heating and air-conditioning man and so competent.

God Bless,

Fred and Mary Gavin

As one of Steve's many cousins, I am truly saddened to learn of his passing. Steve was the definition of "one of the good guys". Compassionate, unselfish and a wonderful person to be around. I was fortunate to see him more frequently when our children went to high school together. We shared many laughs and great conversations while tailgating before football games. My thoughts and prayers are with the family through this difficult time.

We are so sad to hear of Steve's passing. As his aunt and uncle/godfather we were always so proud of him. We always felt love whenever we had the chance to be around him.

to Steve's family my deep sorrow for your loss steve was a good friend and we had a lot of good times growing up and we always had a lot of good laughs about things we've done together I well truly miss him

My wife and I met Steve at First & Main (Martha who lives there, is my mother-in-law). We have such good memories of talking with Steve about things he had done in the past. But the best memories are singing with him at the Karaoke sing- alongs. He and I loved Del Shannon songs and he knew them all. Sometimes when we passed in the hallway, I would start a song and he would join right in. Just a kind and gentle-natured man he was. He will be missed. Deepest sympathies to all the family. You...
