Steven Mark Dominguez, 53, husband, father, son, brother and friend left this hectic world on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at Mountain View Regional Medical Center in Las Cruces, NM. He was born July 29 1963 to Ruben N. Dominguez and Virginia Salazar Dominguez.

Steve loved (not in any particular order): bacon, his family, new leather shoes, golfing, flashlights, a great steak, cooking fantastic meals, the Pittsburgh Steelers, Elvis, and maybe most of all, belly aching laughs. He was an amazing salesman, a devoted husband, a deeply loving and caring father, a challenging son, a crazy brother and an overall great, great guy!

Among those that are left behind to carry on his memory include the love of his life – his wife, Isabel Benavidez Dominguez; his son, Aaron Dominguez; his two daughters, Amber Dominguez (Sergio Aguirre), and Aubrey Dominguez; his father, Ruben and Angie Dominguez; his two brothers, Rico Dominguez (Sophia Grieb), and Ruben Dominguez Jr. (April); his two sisters, Jace Goodwin (Billy) and Esther Harvey (Dave Engel). Other survivors include numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, his boyz (Buzz and Woody) and all of the many, many people whose hearts he touched and laughed with every day. He was preceded in death by his mother; his paternal grandparents, Cuca and Jesse Dominguez; his uncle, Eddie Dominguez, and aunt, Alice Dominguez also Yukon Jake King of the Tundra (Reno Dog).

Visitation will begin at 1 PM Thursday, January 19, 2017 in the Cathedral of Immaculate Heart of Mary, 1240 S. Espina, Las Cruces, NM. A Prayer Vigil is scheduled for 2 PM followed by a mass. Steve's wish for everyone was happiness – please join us in a final celebration of "Our Big Fella's" life at the reception hall right after mass.
