Steve, you always seemed to be in a good mood even if your back was killing you. You were a good man and universally loved and respected. I miss you.

Steven loved people. He never met a stranger and was the first to offer money, food, time and a kind heart to anyone who was in need. . As Steve was ill and actually passing he left the doors of his home open to a young man, a vet, who had lost everything in a hurricane. He gave him the title to his truck and 2 checks so he would take care of the place, himself and feed Steve's 12 y/o dog until family could get to Florida. That is a true humanitarian. We need to learn what kindness truly is...
