Not sure what to say?

Oh Steven, my dear. I haven't seen you in months or more. I've got a shelf or four that are still full of your books-all sorts, all wonderful. They mostly belong to you. You're the mathematician and scientist; I am just the medievalist with a specialty in 14th century vernacular literature and art. I've got lots of those books, too, so if you need a few, I'm ready to pass them on. I'm hoping you'll come by soon, maybe for books, but also for long conversations over dinner, visits with the...

Thinking of you Steve. Miss you.

I was part of the lucky gang that enjoyed several Thanksgiving dinners with Steve, at an Irish bar of course. Such a warm, bright, interesting, FUN guy. Very sad news. Thanks for the posted photos. I am imagining him enjoying Janis :)

Steven was a dear childhood friend and I am so incredibly saddened by your loss...my deepest condolences..Karen Goldblum

To the entire Epstein family- I am so sorry for your loss and I wish you all peace.

i feel so grateful to have known and loved the truly amazing Steven Epstein almost my entire life. His sparkling mischievous eyes got me through so many things; his big heart touched many. An extremely smart & witty guy....Steven, you will never be gone from my life or the many others who love you so much.

I will remember our NJ train trips, holiday celebrations, and laughter forever. Such a good soul.

I was there when you were born and saw you grow up to be a wonderful human being. You were always very special to me and I always loved, admired and respected you. You were taken from us too soon. You will never be forgotten. My heartfelt condolences to mom, dad and Roni. Rest in peace Steve

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Epstein, Roni and Joe: I'm not sure if you would remember me but I am an old friend of Steve's from Plainview....the POBHS side of town. I am devastated by his passing and so very sorry for your loss. I reconnected with Steven last year after 30+ years. I feel so fortunate that we had that short time together.
We have lost a unique and special person but he will always be with us.
You are in my heart and my thoughts.
With love,
Robin (Rosen) Rice
