Steven Fitzwater

Ella Jean called me and told me of Steve's death. I am so sorry for your loss, Mary Ann. I so remember our days in Logan when you and Steve were first married. Lou and I always appreciated Steve's great sense of humor and his gentle teasing of all of us. It seems impossible that both he and Lou are gone now.

Take the best care of yourself, Mary Ann. I know this has been a long good bye in many ways. Hopefully you are at peace.

So sorry to hear of Steve's passing. He was a great man and always treated people as he wanted to be treated. He had a great sense of humor that will be missed.

Our sincere sympathy to your entire family from Steve's graduating class of 1972, Villisca, IA. We have many fond and fun memories of our years growing up together in the Villisca/Nodaway area. In memory of Steve, our class will purchased a children's book (with a theme of outdoors, hunting, fishing, horses)to donate to our local public library. Hugs to you all from the VHS Class of '72.

A great man who truly loved his family. I hope the family can find comfort in knowing this man touched many people across the country and who truly made a difference.
