Not sure what to say?

Betsy - Sorry to hear about Steve's death - Steve Alger, one of Steve's high school teammates at Palmyra just informed me. I was shocked when I heard the news. I was the football coach when Steve played in high school and remember him like it was just yesterday. What a great young man. We live in South Carolina for half the year, so news from home is a little slow sometimes. Your family is in my prayers.

Back in August I was happy to reacquaint with Steve on Linked In since just after high school. He was proud to mention being the father of 3 fine boys. You can't imagine how shocked and saddened I was to learn of his loss today. My thoughts and prayers go out to his mother, wife and sons. I'm sorry I didn't have the chance to know him in his adult years. Everybody always thought a lot of him.

My heart goes out to you at this time and in the days ahead.

We were so sorry to hear of your loss. The thoughts of many are with you at this time of sorrow.

So sorry to hear this. I graduated with Steve and hadn't seen him since our 25 th reunion. My prayers are with his family!
