Not sure what to say?

Dear Emily and Bob, Thank you for the note of remembrance and Bob, most importantly, thank you for being there for Steve at a time that was significant in his growing up. I remember when you married. Emily, you seemed as kind as Bob. A wonderful couple. May God bless you and keep you. Warmly, Sandy

Every once and awhile we would try to find Steve on the internet because we lost track of him over the years. Now we sadly find his obituary, instead! My husband, Bob, was Steve's "Big Brother," when we were newlyweds in Jackson. Steve helped us move our home to East Tawas on the eastern side of Michigan. When he was older, Steve took our family for a ride in a train engine. Another time we attended his body-building contest in Jackson, and were so impressed! Steve was a wonderful young...

I remember meeting him in high school at a wrestling match we're supposed wrestling the team and he was just like he was in our team great guy outgoing always be missed

Thank you to all who shared memories, thoughts and condolences on this page and at Steve's memorial. The memories will always be a part of us. One of the blessings from our first foster home was learning about a faith that transcends this earth and our human understanding. And now it helps to know that Steve is whole and experiencing these promises with our parents.

God bless each one of you.

Sandy :)

I knew Steve a long time ago when he was with Laurie. I remember when Nicki was born. So sad to hear about this.
Rest in Peace Steve.

Laughing at my doo.

Drinking pop.

Trying to get Steve to get a haircut from my grandmother.

Sandy and family,
I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm also sorry I didn't stay in touch with Steve. He was the best friend I had growing up. He was one of the best people I ever met, like a brother to me when we were young. We went everywhere in Jackson on our bicycles. I feared for him when he got in the foster care system but he always had a smile when we hooked up. Later he introduced me to some of the best music I'd ever heard, Alice Cooper, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple and Janice Joplin....
