My deepest sympathies to the Gimpel Family. I was fortunate to meet Steven a couple of times on my trips to NYC with his sister one of my oldest and dearest friends. My memories of having dinner in little Italy and exploring NYC museums with him and his family will love on forever.
Grief can be so hard during the holidays, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one this holiday season. May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

Dear Steven,
I knew you when you were about 16 years old, before you enlisted in the Navy. I often visited your sister Mona and often, you were there, in your shared bedroom. I remember you sitting on your bed, listening to us talking about teen-age girl things, and smiling. Mostly, I remember your sweet, quiet, almost amused, smile. You seemed like a really nice guy and a wonderful brother to Mona. I know how much she loved you and how much she misses you now. I wish you peace and I wish your family comfort.
