Not sure what to say?

May God's blessings be upon my good friend Stephen. Although its been 25 years since I've seen him, I remember his class, kindness, and regard for others (especially the underdog). Steve's ethical way of living impressed me, and was honest to himself and to others. Steve - it was great to know you.

Janice & Family, I am heartbroken. I never thought I would be writing this for you… especially when words just cannot convey how I feel. Please accept this with much sympathy and love. Bonnie

Hearing of Steve's passing prompted a phone call to a high school bandmate of his, Peter Padua. We spent a lot of time on the phone remembering how great Steve was to be around, laughing, joking, and carrying on in the Goebel garage on 24th Street. He was a good friend to us, and we will never forget his killer version of " Hello Mary Lou."

Dear Jani, Andrew and Mickey
Our love and hearts are with you now and we share in your loss. Steve lived his life to the fullest, with zest, passion, love and comittment. He adored you Jani and his boys, Andrew and Mickey, and he was such a proud dad . You were the most important part of his life. His spirit and footprint will remain with us always. He will live on forever in our hearts. Our love and prayers are with you now and always. You are so special to us...we are here for you for...

Dear Jani & Boys,
I am so sorry for your loss. It is a loss for all who knew Steve. The last time I saw Steve in Cloverdale, he looked happy and proud as he told me about Andrew & Michael...

Alan and I were saddened to hear that Steve died. He was a great man. He worked with us for many years and he was a good friend. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Janice, the boys and all of the family. We are at our Southern California home until May so we will not be able to be with the family during this difficult time.

Dear Janice, Boys and the entire Goebel family,

We were deeply saddened to hear of Steve's passing, he was just such a great guy!

Although we've lost touch over the past many years, we have always had nothing but good memories of our association and times with Steve, and Janice. Aside from our personal friendship, Steve was very instrumental in making our business 'Pacific Environments' a success back in the early 80's and 90's and we will always appreciate all he did for us...

Though I saw you infrequently I will so miss knowing you're there in Cloverdale where we all stared out. Your family will always be in my thoughts and deeds.
Love Kate
