Not sure what to say?

He was my boyfriend when we were teenagers, and he was lovely.

My poem to you, Steve

We danced in the sand.

You and I, hand in hand.
We watched the moon glow in the sky. Sunsets over the Gulf, or on our front porch.
Always the stars twinkling in our eyes.
So many words are Steve.

Loving and Generous
Respectful and Loyal
Honest and Fair
honorable a Sunshine glow, Zest for Life, Calming and bright.

You showed me in so many ways love, friendship and and respect that I will cherish forever.

Steve you were a good man and friend. You always an inspirational word for me when we talked and you were a person I looked to and got strength from. Thank you.

To Nancy and the whole Oetz family my deepest condolences.

Dear Son of a Son of a Sailor,

I hope you are at peace on your journey down A1A searchin for your lost shaker of salt. I hold my tin cup for a chalice, fill it up with good red wine, and toast to you my friend!

Sincerely,
Your fellow Parrot Head

He said that phrase jokingly, but, you know, sometimes the truth really is told in jest. He was...

There are so many aspects of Steve that I could comment on – his generosity, to be sure, especially of his time.  Whenever you needed to talk, Steve was always willing to listen.  And his advice, when given, was nearly always spot on.  He had a gift for seeing through the clutter and finding the obvious truth.

Or perhaps, his friendliness – Steve made friends quickly and easily, and once made, were rarely given up.  He seemed to know nearly everyone, and had a wide circle of...

I have known Steve a long time from working at Walgreens. Also, to be remembered are the times we were together outside of work. Knowing the type of person Steve was, I am sure he will be receiving all kinds of allocades. So I will simply say the : "Steve was one of the good ones."

Our symaptheis and prayers to Nancy and the family.
