I am more than saddened to hear of the passing of my lifelong friend, Steve Goetz. Deep condolences to Steve´s wife Barb, their children, Steve´s mother Anne, all of Steve´s sisters, and the rest of his family. Steve was the finest person I know, the package of complete success, the real deal. Steve and I were not on this earth very long before we first met while in diapers. I met Dr. Goetz when he joined the Mercy family. I worked with him on many emergency room and organ and tissue donation cases. I always appreciated his support. My sympathies to all his family and friends.
