Not sure what to say?

I miss his smile, his laugh and his voice. My heart is broken.

I knew Steven through my friend Steve Steinbergher, and we became friendly in our own right. I enjoyed his company and his humor and we'll all miss him. My condolences go to AnnMarie and his family at this difficult time.

Steve was a close friend with my cousin Richard and it was as if he was another member of our family. He added so much fun and laughter to our events. He was always smiling and had such an amazing sense of humor. My condolences to his family. Rest in Peace Steve.

Rich and I are truly sorry for your loss. While we never got to know Steve, we're happy to have had the opportunity to meet him... I believe it was in Bed Bath Beyond... before we moved from New Jersey to Utah. Instead of shopping that night, we laughed with the two of you and we left with the memory of a smile on your face. You made a beautiful couple.

Stuyvesant Village Gang Reunion 2010

I knew Steven in his teen/post teen years when we all hung out together in Stuyvesant Village in Union. He always seemed to have a smile on his face and a quick funny wit. I hadn't seen Froggy (as we called him because of his gravelly sounding voice) in nearly 40 years, but we touched base at a little reunion a couple years ago of our old friends over drinks at a South Jersey bar and later breakfast at a true Jersey diner! Hard to believe 40 years had passed and we all picked up right where...

My condolences to the family. I knew Steven as "The Frog" or "Froggie". My older brother and he were a comedy duo called Larry and the Frog. So I knew him during my teenage years .. 40 years ago. He's etched in my memory as if it were yesterday. In fact we just spoke foundly of him a couple days before he died. His smile, charm and enthusiasm were infectious. His memory will always be a blessing to me and I hope to all of you. I remember him for his big loving heart.

Steven Gottlieb was not only my cousin but my friend as well. He made me laugh when I felt down, and he always made me feel special. The way I will remember Steven is through his sense of humor, his kindness and how he put a smile on my face whenever he saw that I needed a shoulder to lean on. Steven never looked at life as a glass that was empty, he always looked at it as being full and he always made others feel as positive about life as he did.

Steven Gottlieb was not only a terrific person, but he was always the one who made you laugh and made you feel better when you cried. He always acted like a true gentleman and did everything he could to make people around him feel happy and put a smile on their face. He was fun, He was full of life, He was polite and he will truly be missed. Ricky Wechsler
