Dear Gayle,
Thinking of you at this time of remembrance...I remember bursting into tears on Steve's final day at Longs when I gave him a hug goodbye. I had to dash out of the breakroom into an office to compose myself. I do not do well with goodbyes...
I missed him then and I miss him now. I reread my previous note, and it was so true! Steve was a warm and sensitive individual. I hope you are doing well, Gayle. Feel free to contact me,

I was so very sorry to hear about Steve. He was a great guy and always made me smile. I am sure that you and your family have tons of happy memories of your life with him, those will always remain in your hearts. Thinking of you and praying for strength for you as you go through this difficult time.

Dear Gayle,
I'm so sorry for your lost. I thought the world of you and your daughter as I got to work with the both of you at Longs. Your both in my thoughts and my prayers. I didn't know Steve very well but he was always so friendly and had a smile for everyone.

The first time I ever met Steve was when he and Gayle came into the Photo dept. at Longs on Palmer Park. Steve smiled and said Hi !! I didn't know him very well but I am glad I met him. Gayle and Nicole I am truley sorry for your loss.

Just a couple of my fond memories include Steve holding the son of one of the young ladies who worked at the Longs on Centennial. He had the warmest, gentlest expression in his eyes...that little boy couldn't get enough of Steve.
Another memory was the time we were discussing one of his hunting trips...he had his elk tag and was successful...and tears welled up in his eyes as he described how he gently blew cornmeal into the elk's nostrils as a token of thanks to the elk's spirit for...
