Not sure what to say?

I worked with Steve years ago at Westinghouse Furniture though in a different department. We quickly connected as fellow Christians and I used to enjoy our conversations when he would stop and chat at my reception desk. He was always a breath of fresh air in a frequently unpleasant job. I still remember his kindness and charity and friendliness. He was a true Christian. I am so sorry for your loss.

Connie, I am so very sorry for your loss. Steve was a "Peach of a guy". I really enjoyed knowing him in high school, and was happy to see you both at the class reunion. From talking with him at the reunion, I know he loved the Lord. We have the comfort of knowing " absent from the body, present with the Lord. You will meet again. My prayers are with you and your family. (I live in Texas now, but in Michigan for a visit. Having had lunch with KHHS girls was told of Steve's passing.) Pam...

I grew up going to church with Steve Howard. I remember him as always being a kind and gentle man He was always so friendly and loving towards us kids when we were younger he always took the time to stop and say hi to us I will never forget his kindness. He displayed over the years Connie and family you are in my thoughts and prayers doing this difficult time of loss

If there is one word that comes to mind when I think of Steve it would most certainly be "faithfulness". Through ups and downs, thick and thin he remained a faithful man. First of all faithful to his Lord, Motivated by the love for Christ, He knew the call of faithfulness to his wife, family, friends and church. The Steve I knew was a man of joy. A joy that just rubbed off. Always doing his best to help others find the joy that comes from knowing Christ. Connie and family you will be in my...

Daniel OConnor here I grew up at Grace Emanuel. As a child attending there I knew Steve as a great and kind man. One who was never to busy to say hi and one who was not easily annoyed with the antics of young boys and girls running and playing after church or during events. His christian kindness was always on display. Its what sticks with me now even all these years later. As someone who has in recent years dedicated my life to Jesus I know he is in paradise with his Lord. One day kind sir...

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Connie, It is with great sadness that Kathy & I extend our condolences. The experiences we shared and the memories held from the best of times back in the days of our youth, many of which come to mind. I´m grieved but yet understand that there is salvation of eternal life in the many mansions of God´s Kingdom. A place is prepared for us where we will remain, ..joyful and with praise of the Holy Spirit forever & ever. Bless one another with these words. KHHS - Class of `65
