DR. STEVEN EDWARD OLCHOWSKI HAWKINS

Penny, I found myself thinking of Steve not too long ago and did a search only to find out he had passed away. I don't have to tell you what a fun guy he was. I have great memories of him and I am sorry we did not stay in touch more. My daughter Anna went to Catholic Central with your sons. She said they were both very cool and good looking. I hope you are all doing well.

I was thinking of Dr. Olchowski who did a very intricate, lifesaving surgery for me in 1994 recently, and came across his passing. I'm sorry for your loss, and apologize for not knowing any sooner, but I've been long moved from Michigan. Dr. Olchowski was a delightful, talented surgeon who treated me with kindness and respect. He loved his Polish heritage, and liked we shared that. My doctors now are amazed at the work he did, and I thank God for him. May he rest in peace with our Lord,...

Steve lived next door and we shared growing up together. A great guy and friend. So sorry to learn of his passing.

I was proud to work with Steve at Bon Secours Hospital. He was very helpful to me. And our times duck hunting Friday nights in the fall with Bill Hanna helped us find solutions to most of the worlds problems. With sadness I say goodbye and my heart goes out to all his family. Jeff and Chris

Steve and I went to Cranwell and Holy Cross together. I remember him as a very bright, sweet guy. I will remember him in my prayers.
