Not sure what to say?

To the Hepple family, so sorry to hear about the loss of your son, brother, father, grandfather. I have so many good memories from the "neighborhood crowd". Steve would always make you laugh and was fun to be around. Cherish the time you had with him and what he brought into your lives.

God Bless dear friend. I only have the fondest memories of the many years we spent together in Newington, especially on the NHS football team. With deepest sympathy to you family.

Peter and Pam, So sorry to hear about Steve. You lost a great brother and a Great friend of mine.Try to remember all the GOOD TIMES we had growing up together and we know he has no more pain or suffering.I miss my old buddy already. Take care

Dear Peter, Lee, Pam, and all the Hepple family. I am so sorry and sad to hear about Steve. I wish I knew him better, but the times I was in his company it was always fun and at happy occasions that I will always remember. Please know that we are thinking of you all, with love, Nan and family.

I had the good fortune to have met Steve when we were youngsters in elementary school and enjoyed his friendship from that time frame right through our high school graduation. A true and sincere individual and an absolute class act as a student athlete that always influenced others with the utmost in integrity. Steve will be missed by many as he touched folks with warmth, wit and human decency among other gifts in making him the special person that he has been. He will surely grace heaven...

Pete, my deepest condolences to you and your family at this most difficult time.

I'm shocked. I just had a great visit with him and Peter. Peter left us alone for a bit and Steve and I reminisced for an hour: two old men talking about the good old days. Of course we talked about sports, Newington, high school days- Frank O'Rourke stories, working, yes, a part of that beast of a 40 foot aluminum ladder he used to paint houses is still around. We laughed a fair amount and had some serious talk and I guess that's it for one proud papa.

I've known you since ~1970 when our parents got together - 47 years is a long time to know some one and although we had had our up and downs in the distant past and unfortunately for me we had not kept in very good touch through the more recent ones, I still feel the sorrow and am awash with memory how good a person you have been through your very short life.

I believe you are going to a place from which you can grow in different ways and hope that your struggles on earth put you at...

So sorry to hear of Steve's passing. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers. Russ and Patty Bengtson
