Not sure what to say?

I am a fellow student of UMO who shared several adventures with Steve in1969 and 1970. Steve and I lived on the 2nd floor of Gannett Hall our freshman year at University of Maine and became fast friends with several other freshman on the floor. I remember him as an unassuming individual who accepted everyone at face value. I recently found his Facebook profile and had not realized he had passed. It saddens me to learn of his passing. I knew him for only a short period of time in the late...

Dear Anna and Family, I am so sorry for the passing of your beloved Steve.May the love of family and friends bring you comfort. God bless you with his peace.

Anna, we are so sorry to hear of the loss of Steve. He was a wonderful person and will be great missed by many. Our condolences and sympathy to you and your family. If you need anything I’m a phone call away my friend. We were blessed to know him. RIP Steve God Bless You. ❤

My sincere condolences to the Herb family concerning Steve’s passing. Although I was a year younger than Steve, I was able to play sports with him while growing up in Belvidere. In particular, high school football where Steve was an outstanding center that I was fortunate to play behind for two years as quarterback. His calming demeanor and positive attitude were two of the many outstanding qualities he possessed. It is totally understandable why he chose the career path that he did.
