Of North Collins, NY, Suddenly, September 5, 2015, at the age of 39, beloved husband of Kathie (Hodgson) Holmes; loving father of Rebecca Holmes; son of Lesley and the late Sidney G. Holmes; son-in-law of Robert and Nancy (Schichtel) Hodgson; beloved uncle of Brianna and Trevor Krawczyk; also survived by family and many friends. Friends may call Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM and Friday from 4-7 PM at the WENTLAND FUNERAL HOME, 10634 Main St. (Rte. 62), North Collins, NY. Funeral Services will follow at 7 PM on Friday. Steve was President and Coach of the Hamburg Hockey League.
I still think of Steve. Such a sadness; such a loss. Such a mystery as to why these things have to happen. Love to Kathie and Becky and to Steve's mom....
