I didn't know Steve, but remember Nettie. She dated my husband Rich a time or two before he married me. We met at Judson Baptist Church. The thing that I remember most is that one of Steve's stepsons (Nettie's son) went to Bible camp. The kids reported their experiences of camp to the congregation. This boy's group sang, "If I weren't at church camp, I'll tell ya what I'd be; If I weren't at church camp, a PLUMBER I would be!.....PLUNGE it, FLUSH it, LOOK OUT BELOW!!!!" I'll never forget...
