Steve O was a friend to us from his days at The Jack Pine. He was so welcoming and friendly from the start. We had a cabin nearby so we made many trips to the JP just to visit Steve O. He always remembered us and welcomed us with a caring handshake and smile. He had great stories and info about the area and was always willing to help with advice and even a ride/tow out of the snow mobile trails. He was a caring, humorous and special guy. Working with him many times at the Jack Pine, he and I realized that we had a common connection being that both of us coming to the UP from Grand Rapids. We found we had many mutual friends. And from many customers, it was a constant question while I was at work, "where´s Stevo?" Steve was a legend in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. His love of fishing and hunting...
