Steven Charles Johnson

I met Steve in second grade at Beaumont Grade School. His dad Johnny owned a women's spa/gym and thought it was different but cool nonetheless. Later on in Mr. Vaughn's shop class, he amazed with his woodworking skills. Always popular and outgoing. He went to Grant HS and I went to Benson so we lost touch. I was shocked to learn of his passing. My condolences even three years on.

I was a member of the Portland Sixth Ward where I came to know the Johnson family especially Steve as we were boy scouts. Steve was a real go-getter and by virtue of his countenance and family was standout yet part of the boy scout group of which we are all a part. We would all sit around and tell stories Etc. Steve was certainly a brave fellow and very much love his mother father siblings. I last saw him at a Grant High School reunion where we had some light conversation about ourselves and...

Dear Johnson Family, Jim and I were shocked and saddened to hear of Steve´s passing. He was such a unique, funny character, and such a gigantic spirit! Our love goes out to the entire family... Fondly, Jim and Ann Roman
