Not sure what to say?

Way back in 1968-69 we became friends for a short time and I always thought how nice and kind you were to me. I moved to the Twin Cities late in 1969 so our friendship was brief- However the experience stayed with me a lifetime. A couple of years ago I pulled your name from the depths of my brain and looked you up and saw that you had passed now I find you here. Thank you for your good vibes that you shared.....

I lived in Superior Wisc from 1954 to 1969 when we moved to St Paul Mn...
Steve befriended me even though I was a "kid from the projects" and I have always thought about him all of these years...I think we met in 1967 and hung out a few times.
If my memory is correct he ived with his parents over the Belknap viaduct from downtown near Billings Park.
So many memories of nice people from my childhood in Superior Wisc. which I left 44 years ago!
I always wondered if he too remembered...

It is with utter shock and sadness that Steve was taken from us. A loving life cut too short. In the 20+ years we knew him, there was a kindness of spirit and a gentleness that enveloped him. Damn, we are going to miss him and his laughter.

Frannie, we are so so sorry! A gentle spirit taken too soon. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Our deepest sympathy to you and your family.

With love, Kate and Terry Pott

Every time I look at one of his candles, I think of Steve- creating magical figures from sheets of wax. A special guy with a generous heart. Remembering good times, with love.

Steven has a special place in my life; I have many fond memories of him. He was always very good to me, very kind. And I'll remember him with love.

He will be truly missed, we are so grateful that we had ran into you guys on the beach just 2 weeks ago. Frannie you are in our prayers, if you need anything please call. Love and hugs to you and your whole family.

xoxoxox,
Shelly & John Johnson

My heartfelt condolences to Steve's family and friends.

So sorry about your loss. He was a truly exceptional man. We are all still for a loss of words up here in MN. He was so wonderful to my Mom. God Bless you Frannie and the Family.
