Steven J. Kase, 57, Anderson, passed away July 17, 2005 at Rolling Hills Rehabilitation Center after an extended illness.

He was born July 15, 1948 in Chicago, IL and lived in Anderson all of his life. He was a graduate of Anderson High School.

He retired from Delphi in 1996 after 30 years of employment.

He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church and a US Army Veteran.

He is survived by brothers, Michael (wife, Kimberly) Kase of Anderson and Daniel (wife, Kerri) Kase of Batesville; sisters, Linda Marsh of Anderson, Diana (husband, George) Davis of Daleville and Lori (husband, Jim) Morrow of Middletown; brother, James Kase of Anderson; sister-in-law, Emmajean (husband, Eddie) Noble of Bedford; brothers-in-law, Mark (wife, Sandy) Robertson of Anderson and Donnie (wife, Emily) Robertson of Clear Water, FL; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews; and special friends, Jim Miller and Tim and Judy Monroe.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Alita (Robertson) Kase; mother and stepfather, Donna and Robert Secord; and father, Jean Kase.

Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. Mark Whitsett officiating. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery with military graveside rites conducted by VFW Post 266.

Visitation will be from 12 to 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Christ Lutheran Church or Countryside Animal Rescue.
