Not sure what to say?

Dear Carmella,
You don't know me, we've never met. I had the privilege of working for Steve after his hiring me in 1983.I was referred by his close friend Skip Marsden via a Palm Springs vacation with Harold & Mary Lou Casson. I worked with Unicco for almost 2 years. I had great admiration for Steve and liked him very much. I was also a member of Oakley C.C. for 25 years and knew many of his friends who also had great respect & admiration of Steve.I just learned 2 days ago of his passing...

Dear Carmella, I am so sorry to hear of Steve's passing. I just learned about it today. I truly wish I could have attended his service as a final Thank You for everything you both did for my Family at the time of Peter's death. If their is anything I can do for you please contact me. My Love Always, Tim

Very sorry to hear of your loss. Steve and I chummed around in High School, and he was my T-Bar partner when Wildcat Mountain tried to decapitate me in 1961. By the way, Nanci his black car was a 55 ford.

I am stunned so see that Steve died. I was close to Steve in High School....I called him and left a message regarding the reunion, but for probably obvious reasons now didn't hear back. I liked him so much.. his wit, smarts, gentlemanly ways.......My mom actually approved of me driving into the Green Frog with "Mouse" as we all new him. He used to pick me up on Pleasant St. and drive me to school. He had a big, black, I think Caddie or something if I remember right and.... we used to pick...

Mouse was a cult figure back in the day. Those of us in the 'hood on Pleasant Street, Martha Belden, Paul Lewis, Richie Guiffre, George Baxter, John Finley, just to name a few, thought he was awesome. He had some great parties and we could always count on him for some great laughs. When we finally got him to an Arlington High School reunion 10 years ago, he was surrounded all night by classmates who were so glad to see him. We'll miss you old friend! Nanci Leverone Ortwein AHS '62

I guess I should address these thoughts to Bobby and Diane Kletjian, who may not even remember me. (I did not have the pleasure of meeting he spouses of Ricky or Steve). I grew up in the old neighborhood, bowling with Steve and John Finley and playing cards in the park at 'the pond'. These were the old,old days. After high school, I left Boston and saw Steve again at a high school reunion ten years ago. It was wonderful to see him again and I was in awe of his accomplishments. I recall...

Honey, We are so sorry to hear of your loss. May your fondest memories help to endure the sadness that you are feeling today. May you have peace knowing that Steven is with our father in heaven. God Bless.

Dear Bobby and Adrina...
So very sorry to hear of your brother's passing. May you find
comfort in memories of "the good
times".

Steve's passing brings forward a wealth of fond memories of the years of sailing and times spent together. He will be so much missed for his keen mind and quick wit; in that, Steve will be with us always. Our thoughts are with you, Gerry & Karen
