Not sure what to say?

Steve was a great friend. I met him at a car show and we talked about our cars. I then met him at a model car show and we talked about our model cars. As the years went by we attended the same shows in Omaha. He was a special person and would go out of his way to help anybody. It's been a privilege knowing and laughing with him. Steve, I will miss you.

Been friends with Steve since jr high have many memories of partying, poker games, fishing, and. our recent pool games.Love ya buddy,TILL WE MEET AGAIN

I knew Steve through the model car hobby. I bought many models from him over years. I was very sad to hear that he has passed away. He was always a gentleman, totally professional and though I never met him personally, we enjoyed many model stories. We have lost a good friend.

It's hard to say how much Steve mint to me and my family. We send many of years on the road going to model shows all over mid west and car races and drag races. It's not going to be the same going to some of the stuff we did together . You are going to be in your hearts love you man. The Fickel Family.

I filled the vending machines there twice a week and would always hang around for a while to talk cars with him. Occasionally we would run into each other on the weekends at National Auto while cruising Dodge Street. Always liked his souped up yellow VW. As we grew older our lives took us in different directions and lost contact with each other. I didn't see him again until the early 90s when...

steve was a very good friend. spent many nights talking about cars and his favorite pass time of collecting and building model cars. he will be greatly missed.

Steve was always a good friend and a Charter member of Nebraska Autos in Miniature, his passion for the hobby helped mold the club and he always was first inline to volunteer to do whatever needed done to put swap meets and contests together. The Hobby has suffered a great loss. My condolences to his family and many friends. R.I.P Steve

Always looked forward to seeing Steve at the KAMS shows. Miss the way he teased me about the way I ran the raffle.
