Dear Demetra, Alexand timmy I was so shocked and saddened to read about Steves death. Please accept my deepest sympathy on your tragic loss. I remember back to those early soccer days and all the good times. My prayers are with all of you in these sad times.

You are in our thoughts and prayers. Steve's tenderness is what I remember being one of the younger cousins. I also remember his love for dogs! Grateful for his life. Hoping to see you Demetra, Alex and Tim as well as have the opportunity to meet Sarah.

I have been a close friend of the Koning/Collia family for decades at the DC Christian Reformed Church. This has been a terrible shock to all of us who knew and loved Steve. To me, he was the brother I never had, and I was the sister he never had. Whether gathering at his home for meals or New Year's Eve parties, going out to eat or listening to jazz, Steve always made me feel like part of the family. He will be greatly missed. I was surprised and saddened to hear the news of Steve's passing. Next week I'll be in DC with a group of students from my Oakland, California school. Steve was on my list of folks to check in with. I know you'll be there with us in spirit, Steve, and that you'll give the best tour ever! You are missed. Your family is in my thoughts.

Steve was a kind and wonderful person. As a sale person at EMC for 23 years,.what makes me love my job the most is when I come across people like Steve. Steve was a dear firend... I have known Steve while working on his datacenter relocation in 2009. Since then, we build a professional relationship that turned into a friendship.
