Carey and family,
A bright light is now gone from our world, but is now a shining star in heaven watching over all those closest to him! I think Steve may have liked this quote, " It is not how long the flower blooms, but how beautifully." To the family-especially Carey, Gail, Sara, and Chloe (his favorite women!)-with each tear that falls may your spirit be renewed. Keep the wonderful memories close to your heart! Our hearts go out to you all. We were blessed to spend some wonderful time with Steve in Crested Butte and again at Back to the Fifties in June. Nicholas will miss his "straw game buddy." Our only wish would be that we had made it out on a car cruise with him this summer. Take heart in the fact that he's undoubtedly upstairs, cruisin' in his favorite ride.
