Steven Lampe

Steven was a Warrior! He is a true inspiration. I got to know Steven when growing up as a neighbor just at the top of the hill. As a family friend I remember accompanying the family to Iowa City when he was in school there. He then went on to attend Bettendorf High School when I was there and he stole the hearts of the Bettendorf football community and the entire student body. Steven was always enthusiastic and did not let a disability stand in his way of incredible accomplishments...

I was very sad to hear about Steven's passing. I have many good memories of childhood and visits with Steven. I enjoyed hearing about his relationship with Iowa FB. Steven always had an uphill battle in life but seemed to face it positively. My condolences to Katie and his sisters, who always were there for him.
