Not sure what to say?

Hi Steve in heaven Often think of our time together Love Scott

Steve was so unique, so caring and generous. I think of him still. He told me he would come around AD, so true , and so free and easy See you someday again my friend

Steve had a performing dance group called Leafield in 1975. He put together a wonderful festival at Deception PaSS called An English weekend. I wish we had gotten snowed in so we could have prolonged that wonderful gathering. He did many wonderful things for the Seattle Folkdance community and was a good friend of Alice Nugent and the Pooley family in Enumclaw

Steve introduced my future bride and me to dancing and Irish music in Columbia Missouri in 1978. We have been in touch on and off through the years. In 1998 when I was ordained an Episcopal priest, Steve rescued the ordination service because the cathedral in San Jose CA had printed the wrong music at one point.

We have been trying to contact him for a number of months and just found this notice. I love this man dearly and I will pray for his repose.

There are so many things I've wanted to share with you - I miss you, my friend.

Eileen

A year has passed since you left us, my dear, dear friend. I miss you more every day.

I remember back in the mid-70's when Steve and Tony Kettner owned a house together at 506 11th Avenue East on Capitol Hill. I attended a party there around Christmas time as I recall with a friend and Steve had cooked all the food. I sort of met up with them both late one night downtown at the old restaurant that was in the YMCA building on Fourth Avenue. Tony was a med tech so we all got into a weird discussion about phenolphthalein. At one point Steve even said, "Why are we talking about...

Steve was a folk dancing friend from the 1960s. I will miss his lively and loving personality. Rest in peace, Steve, you are greatly missed. I'll look for you when I pass to the other side.

Steve was a longtime friend through Balkan folk dancing. We will all miss him and his lively personality. Rest in Peace, Steve. We will meet again on the other side.
