Read MoreI met Steven while he was a resident at MMC.When I had my first child he was at Ft Monmouth where my mom worked Patterson Army hospital.My son was born in Ft Bragg NC,with a birth defect I brought my son home,to Dr Leftak who put us on the right track of care .There are not enough words to describe the kindness , caring and friendship of this wonderful man for friends and family.

To the family of Dr Lefrack- I want to let y´all know your relatives memory is continuing to touch lives. A podcast by comedian Nicole Byer- a former patient- mentions Dr. Lefrack and the joy he brought into Nicole´s life. My family is so saddened to learn of the loss of dear Dr. Lefrak. He was my children's pediatrician from their birth until they were grown. There was no one who I trusted more and my children and I always looked forward to going to the office to see Dr. Lefrak. I have every note that he wrote during their well-check-ups in their baby books. His passing is a great loss to all who knew him. He will always be remembered as being a gifted physician and is well loved. God Bless you all. ...

Dr. LeFrak was my children's pediatrician in the late 80s till the mid 90s and due to insurance reasons, sadly we were forced to leave the practice. My young adults still remember Dr. LeFrak today as the Dr. who always counted their fingers and toes at every visit to make sure there were 10 of each and always left the office with one of the rubber noses. He was the best of the best. He will be missed greatly. Rest in Peace.
