Not sure what to say?

I met him in the early 1980s while working for The Kellwood Co. In the warehouse. I'd say " hello Stevie"and he'd reply " hello Dougie ". Whenever I went through Cedar and usually thought about him, sadly, never took time to say hi. A great man!

I had the pleasure of working with Steve at the Southwest Technical College. He was a sweet, kind man that students connected with and he always made my day brighter for being around him. I offer my sincere condolences to Carolyn and the Ludlow family. Steve will be missed by so many and happy and loving memories will be cherished by all.

Carolyn, I am so sorry. I saw first-hand the joy that Steve brought into your life and the lives of your little girls. I've always admired the relationship that the two of you had. Please accept my sincere condolences along with my love.

Carolyn, Eric and I were shocked to hear about Steve. You have always been such a positive person and good friend. Words cannot do everything that should be done, but know we are thinking of and praying for you and your family. We will visit you soon. Love, Brenda and Eric Schmutz.

Steve was a great guy! He not only tolerated, but loved all of his and Carolyn’s kids, and even mine sometimes! He had a great sense of humor, and helped me out, a few times in my life! I will miss him! Thanks Steve for being so good to one of my best friends. Hate to say goodbye, so..... we’ll see you later!

I knew Steve from working part time with him and Dude Brindly at Consolidated Freight Lines and got to know him better when we took trips together for Dude. I always enjoyed the time I spent with him and over the years since we’ve visited a few times. I know his family was the most important thing in his life. I was actually shocked to learn of his passing in today’s obituary. My sincere condolences and my hope is that you are comforted by his goodness and the life he shared with you,

Our deepest sympathies to Carolyn and Steven's family. We know you cherish many memories. We are thinking of you all, and know all of you will find support from our extended family. Wish we were closer in distance, and could be a larger part of your family. We love our Ana and Carson. The Jones Family
