Not sure what to say?

Hard to believe it has been eleven years. it is hard driving by the house where he lived, and holding back the urge to blow my horn, as I pass the house. Gerald

I MISS STEVE, AND WISH THE FAMILY THE BEST AND OUR PRAYERS WILL BE WITH YALL, MR MADDOX KEEP IN TOUCH ON FACE BOOK ,JIMMY MANNING

As we approach the first anniversary of Steve's death, I just wanted to say that I still look for him every time I pass his house. I loved Steve with all my heart! I know that he would be so proud to see what Chad and Carly have done with the house and that he would be excited about the upcoming birth of his first grandchild! He would also be so proud of the adults that his children have become!
I have his photo with Chisum next to "my seat" in our greatroom. Everytime I see that photo,...

Truett : I worked with you at Gregs in the 80's, I was the long hair guy in the warehouse, I just now came across this and my heart sunk. I can't even begin to imagine the pain in your heart. I don't know the right words to say, only thing I know to do is pray for you and yours. I know we didn't always see eye to eye but I've done a lot of growing up since then and I owe that to some of the things I learned from working for you, Thanks for putting up with me and God Bless you my friend

Chad and Lauren,
As the first Christmas nears without your dad I know it is difficult. When I see a bright star in the sky I think of him as if that star is his big smile shining down on everyone. Your dad was a great man as you both know. I hope that you both can somehow find comfort this season in knowing just how great of a person he was and how much he truly loved both of you.

Chad and family,

I'm just now finding out about the loss of Steve. Just wanted to let you know how very sorry I am. Steve was a wonderful man, always happy and helpful to all. He will be greatly missed! My God Bless you all!!

Truett I was telling my son about you last week how good of a coach and father you were. I remember playing around in the park and I could hear you yelling and we would say thats old Mr. Maddox yelling. Smokey called me and told me about Steve and it really hurt me to hear it. it just seems like yesterday we meet up there in Trussville. Truett i will always hold the biggest respect for you if I can help in any way please call. Love you in Christ Curtis Harper

Mr. and Mrs. Maddox, Lynn, David, Chuck, Chad, and Lauren,

My heart is so full at this time. I wanted to express my sincere sympathy in your loss of such a loving son, brother, and father. I have such wonderful memories of Steve when he first came to be our next-door neighbor. He was such a wonderful guy, always had time for you, always cared, and always had a smile on his face. Oh, how I will miss him. It was so good last year when I was visiting Mama and Daddy, and he stopped...

To Steve's family. We were saddended to hear of Steve's passing. His friendly wave and huge smile will be missed by all of his neighbors.
