Dixon, it was only today that I heard about Steve's passing. I am so sorry for the loss of your dear brother.

I was shocked and saddened when I recently learned of Steve's passing. My deepest condolences to Debbi and his extended family members.

I just found out about Steve's passing. I am so sorry for your loss. Not only was he my attorney and co-worker, I also considered him a friend. My heart goes out to you and the entire family, and you all will be in my thoughts and prayers

It was with much sadness that I was informed of Steve's passing. Steve was more than my lawyer, he was a friend. When I was going through a tough time, he was there to guide me along. His advice was professional and caring. When I needed the " Dutch Uncle Talk" I got it. As a lawyer he was a true professional. I will miss our lunches. He truly was one of the guys in the white hats. There is a void in my heart.

It was with great sadness that I heard of Steve's passing. I knew Steve for more than 30 years. He was a wonderful lawyer, a 'lawyer's lawyer,' always kind and courteous and of service to his profession. He was a caring person and a good friend to all in the legal community and in his community. He will be missed.

I got to know the McCain family only in the last few weeks of his life, and from my brief experience with Steve and Debbie, I can truly say they are very special people. Debbie spent every waking moment at his bedside from the first sign of illness, to the last. Their children are clearly a reflection of the supportive and loving environment in which they must have been raised.
