The news of Pudge's passing is shocking and very sad. I remember Pudge well from all of my great times in Monticello especially hanging out at the Meyer house with Danny, Pudge and friends. He had a great love for life and sense of humor. My heart goes out to his entire family.

Barbara, Danny & Pudge, May 2006

Although we have not seen each other for a long time, I can see his face and hear his voice so clearly. A face that featured a broad smile and laughing eyes. A voice that spoke softly, infused with wit and charm. It is with tremendous sadness that I write this, hearing of Pudgy's passing and wishing it were not so. As a childhood friend, I send thoughts and prayers to you, his family. May you hold onto the wonder that is his legacy. I hope you find a small comfort in knowing that he was...

Pudgy was one of my earliest, best elementary school buddies. I remember his mom making us grilled cheese sandwiches while we played on the sidewalk. My thoughts go out to his family ... and to all of us from the '77 class who've lost way too many, way too soon.
