Steven P. Michaud

It doesn't seem possible that it has been five years since Steve's passing. In those five years his name has been mentioned many, many times by me. I wish I could have located him and talked to him way before he got so sick. Steve will always be with me in spirit and the memories of our time together will never be forgotten. Again, my thoughts and prayers are with Paula and all members of the family. Just remember this........Steve was the brother I never had. Friendships like ours are hard...

Steve was my BEST friend when we were in the Navy. We shared an apartment together off base and were like brothers. I will miss him and I send all my love to his family. He was one of a kind and never failed to keep my spirits elevated with his humor and demeanor. May God bless him and his family.

Sending thoughts your way, I am sorry for your loss. Steve was very special to me back in the day. He was my very first crush, my 5 year old self thought the moon and stars revolved around him. He would let me hang out with him for hours passing him tools "helping" fix his car. The way he spent time with me, the little kid next door, daughter to his mother's best friend, will never be forgotten.

I grew up with 17 Caribou cousins, and Steve was very definitely the loving laughter in the group. In spite of the great age differences among us, Steve always managed to relate to all of us, literally and figuratively lighting up the room whenever he appeared. We loved him very much, and our family will never, ever, be the same without this loving, caring, big-hearted man. All of the Michaud cousins have been fortunate indeed to have him in our midst.
