Not sure what to say?

My heart is with your family; Alec and I both thought very highly of Steve. We just found out or we would have been there to pay our respects. Steve was a great man, with a huge heart. I never heard Steve say a bad word about anyone, and he always had the biggest smile and kindest compliments! God could not have put a better man on this planet. God gained an angel!

Steve was always so kind to my mother (Mary Reese) and she adored him. He was always quick to pump her gas, put air in her tires and made her feel good that her little red Honda would last forever.

So sorry to hear about his passing.
Our thoughts are with your family.

We have been golfing, fishing, camping, barbecue friends for over twenty years now. Our hearts are saddened by your loss and our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Steve was such a great guy I will miss him

I appreciated my association with Steve many years ago, however limited it was. He was enjoyable to be around and had a quick and ready smile. My expressions of comfort and condolences to you Cindy and your family.

Although not close, I always admired Steve and obviously am saddened to hear of his passing. Jason and Jared are both testaments to the character and "zest" for life that he enjoyed...Cedar Ridge will miss him and his infectious smile. Fly with the Angels Mr. Mitchell...

To the Mitchell Family,
I just wanted you all to know that I am thinking of you all at this time. I have and always will be thankful for your dad and what he taught me as a young man while I was employed by him at Steves Texaco. I will never forget my first job and the patience he showed me while I tackled a water pump on an old Mercury Cougar. I hope as you all hold on to the memories, you find the smiles in your hearts that shined so big whenever your dad did the same. I will miss...

We will miss you so much, Steve . May you Rest In Peace.

Cindy seems like we were neighbors many times. The mobile park by Lins then up by the ball parks, before we moved our homes to The Cove. Our kids grew up together and we always enjoyed you Steve and your kids. I and my kids want you to know we are so sad to hear about Steve. Lots of love sent to you Cindy.
