Not sure what to say?

To all who have written in this guest book, thank you for the kind words and sympathy. Looking through these entries may bring tears to my eyes, but it helps me remember what an incredible human being Dad was. My father was the greatest man I have ever known, and it is the highest honor to call myself his son. Steve Moore was a truly great father, husband, soldier, and patriot.

I am in my second semester of college now at Samford University. While I have told a few friends here of...

Please accept my condolences for your loss. I just heard about Steve's passing. I was a classmate of his at Coventry High School. I remember Steve as a leader of our class.

Maryjon, I just recently heard about Steve's passing. My most sincere condolences to you and your family. I served with Steve in the Cavalry Squadron at Ft Hood. He was a good friend, mentor, soldier, officer, and aviator. As Jon Manning said previously... until our next posting. May God hold you in his hand and provide your with comfort during this time of sadness. -- LTC Greg Glover

Maryjon,

As John Manning stated in his message, Steve was a friend to many, and we remember him fondly. Over the past few months, I have tried to Google you guys several times in hopes of reconnecting. Well, we reconnect here, but under circumstances much different than hoped.

Well, I see Steve now on the "Stop Wishin'", having found calm winds and a following sea.

My sincerest condolences to your and your family. If my family and I can do anything at all,...

Maryjon
Many of us from Ft Hood just learned of Steve's passing. It was so nice to have a fellow Rhode Islander in the Squadron. He was my friend as well as my boss. He will be dearly missed.
We never say "good bye " in the Cavalry, we say "until our next posting."
Warmest regards,

John and Mary Manning

Maryjon,
Its been a long time since we have seen each other but I was deeply saddened when my sister Maureen called from Erie today to tell me of your husband Steve passing away. For some reason you had been on my mind all morning which happens occasionally and I guess I now know why. Please know that you and your boys are in my thoughts and prayers.

Barb,
I was so sorry to hear about your beloved son, Steve. Please accept my sincere sympathy to you and your family. May the memories you have of him bring comfort to you.

May God bless and comfort your family in this time of sadness.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome...
