Not sure what to say?

I´m just learning of this very sad news now. I was lucky enough to work at Regional Rehabilitation Hospital in Bakersfield when Steve was our CEO in 1990. He was a great leader and a super friendly person. He always had such a wonderful attitude and smile for everyone he met. Everyone was sad when he moved on to Hoag Med Ctr. My deepest condolences to your family, as I´m sure it´s still difficult without him for his family. May he rest in peace. Thank you, Laura Morton

Words can't express my shock and sorrow. I got to know Steve when we studied for our Masters degrees from Cal State Dominguez Hills. We carpooled to class at the VA hospital in Loma Linda. He was then the Director of the Hemet Valley hospital laboratory. He hired me on later as their first graveyard technologist. He was well loved by all at the hospital as a fantastic lab manager, always fair and honest with the employees. We hated to see him move on, but it was obvious that he was meant for...

I can't tell you how shocked I was to learn of Steve's death. All of us at Hemet Hospital Lab looked back on his years at Hemet as some of our best. Anne, please know that we are thinking and praying for you and your family at this time. What a huge loss.

Steve was one of the finest individuals I had the pleasure of knowing in healthcare. He was always receptive to the products and services I was selling during my career. He truly was an inspiration and I am crushed by his early passing. Jeff Butler

Loretta and I will deeply miss Steve Moreau.

Reflecting on our time together brings to mind this best of great memories. We are so grateful for Steve's leadership at St Joseph Hospital and the community. His love of life informs our life today. Words cannot explain this feeling we have for the loss of our good friend.

The healthcare industry has lost a wonderful leader, and the world has lost one of the good guys. You will be dearly missed Steve. I feel fortunate to have known you.

My heart aches. What a good and beloved man. I can't make sense of it all, except to accept that God needed him more than we did. He is a star leading us from above. I'm honored to have known him and to have had the privilege to work with him. My heart is with you Anne and your family. Truly, Sonoma Van Brunt

I was saddened to hear of Steve's recent illness and passing. My interaction with Steve was infrequent but always meaningful. As a colleague in the healthcare management arena, Steve is highly respected by his peers for his forthright contributions, his steady accomplishment and his advocacy consistency. I was privileged to meet, learn and benefit from his insight and emulate occasionally his true Servant leader attributes. He will be missed as a leader in California Hospitals

The brightest star in the galaxy has Steve's name on it. He will forever leave a lasting impression of compassion and understanding to all who came in contact with him.
