Cathy very sorry to hear Steve passed. Know that I´m thinking of you and your family I know it´s been a rough few years. Please know that I´m praying for y´all. It doesn´t seem like 50 years, oh wait, it does seem like forever. Rodger.

Although it has been many decades since I last saw Steve, I remember him fondly from school. I send my deepest condolences to Cathy and the rest of the family.

In the late 70s and early 80s Steve helped set up a computer system for my small business. Steve was very patient, kind, and incredibly smart. He took the time to teach me many computer related things. I have the deepest respect and admiration of him. I am sad to hear of Steve´s passing and offer my deepest condolences.

"Iron" is not a strong enough word to describe Steve's will. I would go with titanium, since it is the strongest metal known to mankind. Since I´ve become friends with Steve, I´ve adopted his name "Mulder" as an adjective to describe absolute order, perfection, or precision. Steve is an inspiration to me in many ways.
