Not sure what to say?

I just learned of Colonel Mura's passing. I live in Idaho and knew Steve during the eleven years spent in the JAG Army Reserves in Seattle. I remember his wit, good humor, and generosity. We shared a love of the law, fast cars, and the Catholic faith. See you in heaven, Steve. Bill Douglas, LTC, JAG, RET.

Steven was one in a million and I have many fond memories of time spent with him (and his family).

Chris and Family, my husband Ned was a fellow 1971 West Point graduate with Steve. We lost touch for many years but reconnected when the 50th reunion at West Point was scheduled to happen but got canceled due to Covid. Email addresses were shared and we made contact again. It was our blessing! I know Chris has a large extended family and wonderful children who will help her through these very sad days. Ned thinks very highly of all his classmates and sometimes shares a story or two with...

Steve was my father´s cousin. I will always cherish my fond memories of Steve and his family; around Bellingham and fun times at the ranch. Steve was such an accomplished, smart, caring person whose service to his country and community is something anyone should admire. Steve was the greatest role model! ..and will sure be missed. Condolences to Chris & the Mura Family.

I will most remember my brother for his self discipline and work ethic. Also his generosity in helping me when I needed it the most. Newly divorced, he came along with me as support when I purchased my first car so I´d get the best price. He insisted I buy my first house in Bellingham by saying if I didn´t, he would. He moved my furniture when I returned to Bellingham to live, cut down my backyard plum tree, and best of all, married me in 2008 to the love of my life. This was not before he...

Steve was a great colleague and I enjoyed our years working together.

Steve was one in a million. He was kind and compassionate. Even at a teenager he was a joy to be around. Prayers for his family

I was a company classmate of Steve's at West Point from 67-71. I also served with him in the 82nd Airborne Division at (then) Fort Bragg, NC. He was a friend to all and very well liked for his intelligence and sense of humor. I pray for Christ's peace to comfort his family. Rest in Peace, buddy.

Steve was my son, Jason Pruitt´s, cousin. He was a wonderful person and we always enjoyed being with he and his family. He will be missed by all who knew him.
