The Schepis Family of the Bronx New York,( and PineBrook N.J.)sends its condolences to the Mutz Family on the passing of Steve Mutz Sr. When I informed my dad, Stanley Schepis, now 80 years old, of the news, his initial comment was,"Steve Mutz was a good guy,". I remember as a small boy "assisting" Steve as he installed a heating system in the lower level of our house in the Bronx. He showed me how to polish the copper fittings with emery cloth in order to get the solder to hold. I was...

To the family,
Our prayers and sympathies go out to you. I remember Uncle Steve from all the Mutz gatherings. A mountain of a man who always had a joking air about him with the kids.He will be missed.

I have recently been learning to play pinochle and in doing so have been talking about the many card games that took place at Neffs. When Uncle Steve was around, he always played. There was great competition among the members of the family but they enjoyed themselves and always looked forward to the next game.

Our Condolences to his family on the loss of their father.
"He is a good man". Those were the words I always heard from people when I was in the presence of "Mutz". And hearing those words from elders, his employees and people that knew him or he provided service to set a lasting impression. He was a big man in many ways and will be remembered in the Lalo family as a giving person with a big heart, charming and with sharp wit. To me he was a great teacher and his presence will always be felt.

So sorry about the lost of your Father, he was a good man and so knowledgable. Always had nice times whenever we were all together and a lot of fun. Take comfort in that he is at rest now.
