Steven Roy Napper

I first met Steve at an Order of the Arrow weekend at Buffalo Trail Scout Ranch in `68. As I was only 12 yrs old, I was impressed with his down to earth friendliness. Later, as I became a camp staffer at Camp Don Harrington, we crossed paths again. Still a teen, this time I think it was as a Kwahadi. He made an exceptional impression on me. I was always glad to hear news of him as time went on. Good people. No doubt!

Mr. Napper was my favorite teacher - he had a great impact in my life. He believed in me, in my future and because of him..... I turned out to be a good respectable person. I'm glad I had the chance to tell him that too! RIP Mr. Napper

Steve was a good friend and fellow scouter with me and my brother. He and I ran across each other some years ago when an adult scouter O.B. Draper was in failing health and about to pass away. Many condolences to his family,may he rest in peace.
