Not sure why Steven was on my mind this evening, but I Googled him and this is what I found. Steven was a good man and I will miss him dearly. My belated sincere condolences to the family and his friends. Also hoping his fond memories bring you comfort. May the Lord of Peace give you peace.

Steve and I shared stories of our Norwegian heritage in the many wild talks with the lunchroom crowd at his most recent state job. I appreciated his humor and his zest for life. Although I'm retired, I would run into him often when I stopped by to visit. He loved his family very much and will keep a watchful eye out for them in his new journey. Peace to the family.

I just found out today that my dear friend Steve-O passed away. That's what I always called him. It is funny how God works - I had not seen Steve since he left Edfund in 2007. It was by chance that in February of this year, I looked him up on the State of California email directory. I sent him a message. Immediately I got a response.
