Naomi and the Nixon Family,
I am deeply saddened and sorry for your loss. Steve was one of the best neighbor and friend I ever known. Steve would always tease me on my morning walks in the summer because I would be wearing a Cv shirt and Cedar high shorts. Steve was one of my favorite scout leaders:
One Saturday for a young men’s activity he took us out to sand hallow with the speed boat and we went boating. The time we had to leave was 6:30 in the morning and since I...

Sorry, I couldn't be there with you for the funeral. I enjoyed watching it all on zoom. Lovely service with such good family story memories. Wonderful sweet family. Love to you all and my sincere condolences. Steve was always such a fun cousin to be with. I remember that mischievous charming smile of his.

I only knew Steve in his later life. The heart of UPS in Cedar City and I do remember him and his saw dust in his garage, he must have made a lot of people happy with his gifts he made and I'm glad he taught others how to do this. There's something to be said for a man who pays it forward and helps give others a chance to learn. He was help to many young adults as a great spiritual leader and I am glad he gave so much to others in his life to help them out now and to prepare for the next...

Naomi and family, although our paths have not crossed for many years, we too, have fond memories of our friends and neighbors on Mirkwood Lane. Steve's inner light shines bright, and it's clear that he and your family have touched many lives both near and far. We share what's in our hearts, the smiles and priceless moments. We pray for your comfort and care. With warmest thoughts and wishing you hope and strength for a brighter tomorrow.

We feel truly blessed to call the Nixon family our family now that Brad and Kenzie brought us all together. We had so much fun meeting you all and sharing our time together. What a sweet and talented man, Steve Nixon! He shared his talent with us when he gave us a beautiful hand-crafted cutting board. We will be forever blessed because we knew him.
We love you all,
Gerald and Resa Cunningham

Our family moved next door to Steve and Naomi and benefited greatly from Steve's love and service. He helped me haul rocks as we prepared the front and back yard of our new home for our new lawn. Our children still remember the rides I gave them in the old wheel barrow he loaned us for hauling rocks from our yard to the back of his yellow pick up truck.
We worked together on the back fence separating our property, him showing me how it was done so I could put up the fence along our...

Steve married my cousin Naomi. I remember him dating her and coming along to our annual summer camp out/ fishing trip on Boulder Mountain. He was so wonderful to be around, so willing to acknowledge a younger awkward kid who many would have pushed aside. He talked to us deep into the night as we crowded into Uncle Merrill’s camper shell beside dear cousins Mont, Randy and Trix. After Trix left for her folks trailer , Steve told us about girls . And the strange and mysterious...
